Generative AI is being pushed hard by major technology companies everywhere. Knowing how it works, why it is being pushed, and having the ability to opt out is central to informational and intellectual freedoms. On Thursday October 8th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm we are hosting "Avoiding AI," a presentation and workshop covering the basics of how this technology works, why it is unreliable as a source of information, privacy concerns associated with AI, and how to disable it on your devices as much as possible. If you are curious about how large language models and artificial intelligence work or frustrated with forced adoption, join us to learn more and take control of your devices and your privacy.
