 e Arts\, Recreation and Parks Commission is a seven-member citizen volunte
 er commission that serves in an advisory capacity to the Wenatchee City Co
 uncil. The primary functions of the Commission are to:\n\n-Review and make
  recommendations concerning recreation program offerings of the City. \n-O
 versee the City’s art collection and comprehensive arts program.\n-Provi
 de recommendations regarding the acquisition\, development and maintenance
  of park areas.\n-Serve as the City Forestry Board and oversee the Urban F
 orestry Program.\n-Provide advice and make recommendations concerning the 
 Wenatchee Cemetery.\n-Review and make recommendations regarding the implem
 entation of the City Parks\, Recreation and Open Space Plan.\n -Provide ad
 vice and make recommendations concerning the Wenatchee Community Center.\n
   -Review art\, recreation and park related proposals.\n  -Complete regula
 r reviews of fees and charges for services.\n\nArts\, Recreation and Parks
  Commission regular meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of each m
 onth at the Public Services Center Lower Level Training Room - 1350 McKitt
 rick Street. Meetings begin at 4:00 PM and generally last one hour.  Meeti
