Music Theatre of Wenatchee presents Urinetown the Musical at the Riverside Playhouse. 7:30 PM Oct 15-17, 22-24 and 29-30 and 2pm Oct 24 and 31 This Tony winning highly original and funny musical takes place in a dystopian future where a long drought has caused a severe water shortage. To conserve water, private toilets are banned, and everyone must pay to use public bathrooms controlled by a powerful company and it's rich and ruthless executives who hold total control and authority over water usage. Corruption meets revolution, with a tragic love story and not-so-hopeful ending, but what can you expect from a show with such a terrible title?
